UI/Visual Designer – Humanitarian Non-Profit
We’re looking for a visual designer to support a humanitarian US-based non-profit. You’ll bring strong design fundamentals and a modern workflow — using AI tools thoughtfully to multiply your output without compromising craft or integrity.
What you’ll be working on:
- Designing a visually storytelling UI and other campaign graphic materials.
- Creating data-driven infographics and awareness content.
- Maintaining brand systems, UI Design stylesheets & libraries for advocacy and outreach.
- Creating lightweight web pages, landing pages, and interactive prototypes.
- Fast iteration from brief to polished concept.
What we’re looking for:
- Expert software fluency in Figma/Adobe Ai & Psd
- Familiarity with UI Design Principles; visual hierarchy, responsive design, accessibility
- Ability to accelerate design processes through AI integration; Claude for ideation, research, and copy; Replit, Lovable, or else for prototyping and microsites.
- Competency in development hand-off/documentation needs. (Component props, variables, etc..)
- Ability to communicate sensitive and conflict-related topics with clarity, accuracy, and empathy
- Clear sense of governance defining where AI belongs in the workflow, and where human judgment is non-negotiable.
- Curiosity about new tools and a habit of keeping your practice current
Application Requirements:
- Strong portfolio with social impact, NGO, or cause-driven work
- 3+ years of experience in visual/UI design roles.
- Comfort designing across many touch-points (digital, print, and web formats)

Long-term freelance, fully remote
