About this role
Unsplash for Brands partners with some of the world’s best brands, including Microsoft, Samsung, Spotify, Chewy, and Le Creuset, to create visual content that feels authentic, elevated, and worth sharing. Our campaigns are designed to create imagery people genuinely want to use and engage with across the internet.
We’re looking for a Senior Creative Producer to lead productions from concept through delivery. The best person for this job can run a complex shoot end to end, managing budgets, crew, timelines, and clients. Operational excellence is the foundation of this role but you must have impeccable taste.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the VP of Partnerships, the Senior Creative Producer will own the full production process across branded photo and video shoots. You’ll manage the logistics, timelines, budgets, and people. On projects without a dedicated Creative Director, you’ll be expected to hold the creative bar and communicate standards clearly to photographers and crew. We move fast and hold a high bar on what gets delivered. You’ll need to be highly organized, proactive, and able to run multiple productions simultaneously without things slipping.
Production Leadership
- Own productions from pre-production through final delivery
- Build production plans, timelines, budgets, and shoot logistics
- Coordinate photographers, directors, stylists, crew, talent, vendors, and locations
- Manage production operations across simultaneous shoots and tight turnaround timelines
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high creative standard
- Troubleshoot production challenges quickly and independently
- Manage contracts, production paperwork, licensing needs, and approvals
- Communicate production updates clearly with internal stakeholders, clients, photographers, and vendors
Creative Support
- On larger projects, a dedicated Creative Director will lead the creative. On smaller ones, you’ll be expected to hold the standard.
- Curate photographers and crew who can execute at a high level
- Review selects and flag anything that doesn’t meet brand or Unsplash standards
- Provide clear feedback on deliverables when needed
- Assist with shot lists, visual references, and casting direction as required
Client and Stakeholder Management
This is a client-facing role. You’ll be the person clients rely on to guide them through the full production process.
- Build trust with clients by bringing clarity, organization, and confidence to complex productions
- Keep all stakeholders informed on timelines, deliverables, and progress
- Maintain strong communication across multiple time zones and fast-moving schedules
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience producing commercial photo and video productions
- Direct experience working with brands and clients is a must
- Strong understanding of production workflows from concept through post
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Experience working with photographers, directors, stylists, and creative talent
- Comfortable running multiple projects at once under tight deadlines
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and highly detail oriented
- Familiarity with contemporary photography and visual trends is a plus
The Right Person for This Job:
You’re an amazing problem solver with strong operations instincts and have been doing this long enough that running a complex production feels like second nature. You’re the person clients and internal teams trust to tell them what’s realistic, what’s not, and how to get the best work out of whatever constraints you’re working with. You know how to bring structure to fast moving productions without losing the authenticity that defines the Unsplash aesthetic.
You have enough of a creative eye to hold the standard when there’s no Creative Director in the room, but this role is fundamentally about execution. If you thrive on organization, logistics, people management, and delivering great work on time and on budget, this is the job.
