The VP of Global Partnerships will be responsible for driving revenue growth in Strategic Partnerships and Sponsorships at CrossFit. You will transform the group strategy and go-to-market approach, collaborating effectively across the business in the process to ensure maximum benefits for all CrossFit stakeholders. You will also contribute to CrossFit’s mission by expanding the audience we touch, ensuring our Partners and Sponsors both “fit” and amplify the CrossFit values and message(s).


  • Lead and own the Global Roadmap for Strategic Partnerships and Commercial Sponsorships at CrossFit, including:

o  Developing the optimum Global Partnerships and Sponsorships Model to maximize business, brand and commercial impact

o   Collaborating effectively with the leaders of other Lines of Business (“LOB”) and Departments to optimize roadmap buy-in, and to maximize commercial and business/ brand impact for CrossFit, & our Partners/ Sponsors

  • Lead and own the Business Development and Sales function:

o   Build and empower a highly motivated team of customer-centric sales and business development executives

o   Build a diverse and world class team, and coach and develop the team to deliver exceptional results for the business, and to live the CrossFit Values

o   Own pipeline development and execution from start to finish to ensure revenue targets are delivered, and close and resolve business critical deals/issues where needed

  • Lead and own the Strategic Account Management function, exploration of expansion/ upsell opportunities and ensuring all aspects of the partnership are working smoothly and at its maximum potential:

o   Build and empower a team of highly motivated, customer-centric account managers

o   Build a diverse and world class team, and coach and develop the team to deliver exceptional results for the business, and to live the CrossFit Values

o   Build operational account management framework with success metrics for partnerships and sponsorships and track success against those KPIs

  • Responsible for retention, growth, and satisfaction of CrossFit’s partners and sponsors.
  • Select and lead/direct a world-class group of Agency Partners to support in developing and executing on the vision and strategy for the group
  • Play a major role in contributing to the CrossFit Brand and Go-To-Market Story to ensure the business and our values are represented fully and authentically
  • Be an ambassador for the CrossFit brand – internally, across the industry and with Partners and Sponsors, particularly at the C-Suite level with partners, sponsors and within CrossFit


  • Track record of driving transformational sales & strategic account/ partnership growth
  • Proven experience in identifying, pitching, negotiating, closing, and renewing high value and complex contracts and vendor deals
  • Ability to build excellent rapport with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; strong teamwork is a must
  • Proven C-suite influencer and trusted advisor relationship builder
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, and ambiguous environments where thoughtfulness, an entrepreneurial mindset, persistent execution, and ability to form relationships drive your success
  • A self-motivated problem solver not afraid to wear different hats, able to process information quickly and excel in ambiguous environments; Sharp strategy acumen, with significant experience in using analytical insight to solve problems and communicate solutions
  • Proven builder and leader/coach of high-performance sales and partnerships teams
  • Excellent judgment & acute sense of self-awareness; Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to listen deeply and question productively

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (required), and in-depth knowledge of the sports and fitness industry
  • 10+ years of experience with sales and partnerships management
  • Expertise in developing strategic pitches to and securing long-term, multi-million dollar business from top-tier clients
  • Relationships with key industry players in the tech, eComm, fitness and apparel spaces are a plus
