Hi, we’re Oscar. We’re hiring a Manager to join our Virtual Care team.

About the role

You will oversee strategy, design, and optimization of strategic projects and new program design in support of Oscar’s Virtual Program. You will be responsible for identifying and driving operational improvements to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness, and coordinating initiatives across the organization. You should also be comfortable working cross functionally, as this role is highly collaborative across multiple teams including product, data, and clinical.

You will report to the Associate Director, Virtual Care.

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $108,000 – $141,750 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $97,200 – $127,575 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead daily activities for your programs including forecasting, scoping, and project planning
  • Oversee implementations end to end to ensure program success including analyzing and interpreting data, setting up proper controls and monitoring, and developing program metrics.
  • Partner with cross functional teams including clinical, data, and product to align on project scope and  sequencing
  • Identify efficiency opportunities through process optimization, automation and net new programs
  • May oversee team members directly as well as mentors and promotes colleagues’ growth and professional development
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in program management and process improvement
  • 3+ years of experience in delivering projects / programs
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and modeling experience
  • Experience in leading cross functional initiatives
  • Experience managing individual contributors

Bonus Points

  • Experience / background in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Healthcare experience (Health Insurance, Health Systems, or Healthcare Consulting)

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
