The role: (Part-time)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for our platform, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and usability for our customers. In this role you will:
- Simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences using clear language and visuals.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including guides, specifications, and white papers.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy of content.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather information, review drafts, and incorporate feedback into the documentation.
- Update and revise documentation to reflect changes in products or technologies.
- Maintain consistency in terminology, style, and formatting across all documentation.
- Adapt content to meet the needs and preferences of various user groups.
We would love to hear from you if:
- You have 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in English, technical writing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- You have a portfolio of previous writing samples, especially those related to technical or specialized topics.
- You are a strong researcher who is capable of gathering information from a variety of sources including subject matter experts, technical specifications, and other documentation.
- You are proficient in grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure, as well as the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- You have a solid understanding of technical concepts and terminology relevant to the industry.
- You have strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- You are meticulously detailed to ensure accuracy and consistency in the documentation.
- You are adaptable with your writing style and tone to target different audiences and communication channels.
