Yelp is seeking a Social Media Community Coordinator to support social listening, community engagement, and customer care across Yelp’s social media channels. The Social Media Community Coordinator will work cross functionally with Yelp’s social media, customer support, and PR teams to expertly handle in-bound messages, PR moments, and engagement opportunities.

We are seeking a long-term, 19 hours per week, team member to support our community management efforts across Yelp’s owned social media platforms. Yelp’s social landscape includes 300+ national and local handles across North America.

This is a part-time, remote role based in the United States.

Where You Come In:

  • You’ll manage social listening, community management, and engagement for Yelp’s social media properties, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • You’ll triage community questions and issues in a timely manner, working with the Customer Support and PR teams for support as needed.
  • You’ll identify relevant trends and conversations for engagement and content creation opportunities.
  • You’ll compile social community feedback to share with relevant stakeholders.

What it Takes to Succeed:

  • You have 1+ years of direct, hands-on experience in a community manager role.
  • You have experience with customer support.
  • You have excellent copywriting skills and strong attention to detail.
  • You have direct, hands-on experience supporting social properties in a corporate environment on consumer-facing channels.
  • You have the ability to follow processes and maintain organization in the execution of tasks for maintaining a community management process.
  • You have experience with Sprout, Khoros, Sprinklr, or a similar digital care platform.
