🤓 We are seeking an experienced and creative PR Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for increasing brand reach and perception through a range of global PR activities.
💰€80-90k* + Stock-Options/BSPCE
🇪🇺 We are flexible: you can work from anywhere in Europe and come once a month in Paris (fully reimbursed), or come to the office more often.

✨ About the role ✨
Our mission is to help businesses create amazing visuals. Your part in that mission is to increase our brand reach by telling Photoroom’s story to the world.
- Own Photoroom’s relationship with the media
- You’ll handle all media communications, press releases, and interview prep for our executive team, representing our brand with integrity and enthusiasm.
- You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, bloggers and influencers, particularly in our English-speaking markets.
- You’ll work closely with our executive team to prioritize and react to opportunities.
- Lead our global PR program
- You’ll onboard and brief local partners to help us build relationships and secure coverage in key markets, starting with the US, UK, Brazil, Mexico and Japan.
- You’ll work with our agencies and international team members to understand what stories resonate best with local audiences, and guide the development of global and regional PR activities.
- You’ll drive agency performance to deliver high-quality results against measurable KPIs.
- Own our brand messaging and positioning
- Regularly review and refine our brand messaging and positioning to ensure it resonates with our target audiences and the media at large
- Communicate our positioning internally to ensure that every team member deeply understands our brand’s core narrative
- Use our brand strategy to create brand narratives as content pillars for our PR and thought leadership strategies
- Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure that all our marketing surfaces reflect our brand positioning
- Find and tell compelling data-driven stories to the media
- You’ll analyze recent press stories, internal data, industry trends, surveys and user stories to identify unique, newsworthy narratives.
- You’ll collaborate with internal subject matter experts to craft engaging press releases, thought leadership pieces, and pitches that resonate with journalists and our audience of entrepreneurs and businesses.
- You’ll track and report on the success of PR initiatives, and use your learnings to inform future plans.
✨ About you ✨
- Experienced: 6-8 years of experience in PR or a related field. You have a proven track record of leading PR campaigns and securing significant media coverage for apps or SAAS products with an SMB/ecommerce audience.
- Creative thinker: Able to turn insights into creative campaigns that help us get cut through and generate coverage with both media and influencers.
- Data-driven: You have a clear focus on delivering measurable results. You are comfortable diving into dashboards, commissioning surveys and asking the right questions that help us craft data-backed narratives around our brand.
- Storyteller: You are an outstanding written and verbal communicator in English with a flair for storytelling. You can quickly find the most compelling angle for journalists and their audiences, and have experience developing brand-level messaging.
- Interviewer: You are also able to ask the right questions to quickly understand a topic, tease the most valuable information out of our subject matter experts, and present their knowledge in a way our audience will understand.
- Media Savvy: Strong network in the media industry, with a knack for building relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry partners.
- Decisive: Able to identify and react quickly to new opportunities, whilst dealing with challenges swiftly and effectively without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Internationally-minded: Experience working with international markets, including US, with a sensitivity to cultural nuances in a global market.
- Design and photography oriented: You have an interest in photography, and understand what makes a great image.
