We’re seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to architect and execute customer engagement strategies that drive revenue growth and long-term retention at ClickUp. As a key strategist within our Product-Led Growth and Marketing (PLGTM) team, you’ll craft personalized journeys that transform new users into passionate advocates. You’ll partner with our Product, Customer Experience, and Sales teams to optimize ClickUp’s customer retention strategy, combining data-driven decision-making with creative storytelling to accelerate business growth. Your expertise in simplifying complex ideas and developing compelling narratives will be crucial in driving user action and revenue expansion.
The Role:
  • Drive ClickUp’s self-serve revenue growth via email and in-app marketing channels across the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Drive measurable improvements in customer retention, engagement, and revenue expansion
  • Analyze and report on email and in-app performance, using both quantitative and qualitative analysis to draw insights for optimization. Present reports to department leads and executives.
  • Suggest and implement regular testing in day-to-day email and in-app marketing cadence.
  • Build sophisticated segmentation strategies leveraging user behavior and activity data
  • Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of our product, including regular feature additions and updates, in order to provide relevant and timely email and in-app campaigns.
  • Set and deliver against key engagement and revenue goals while ensuring content is aligned with our brand and department goals.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of hands-on email or in-app marketing experience in tech, SaaS, B2B, or D2C environments
  • Proven track record in lifecycle marketing with focus on retention and revenue growth
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel or Tableau. Deep understanding of product, email, and in-app marketing analytics.
  • Excellence in copywriting with strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics
  • Direct knowledge of marketing automation platforms (experience with Iterable and Chameleon preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in data-driven campaign optimization
Desirable:
  • Proven success in revenue-focused email and in-app campaign development
  • Experience collaborating with Customer Experience teams on retention strategies
  • Track record of implementing successful personalization initiatives
