Overview

GitHub is searching for an Integrated Manager to execute and optimize data-driven marketing campaigns and who wants to make a big impact for themselves, the GitHub Revenue team, and most importantly, our customers.

In this role, you will execute awareness programs to achieve sales pipeline goals for specific geography or target segment. This program owner will create and execute in collaboration with integrated marketing campaign owners, determine optimal market segmentation, with a focus on top of funnel virtual webcast, demos, and video assets.

We believe you need to have a deep understanding of Enterprise audiences and first-hand experience marketing to software developers and decision makers.  Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a high level of compassion for colleagues and the developer community required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and support the AI integrated marketing plan for GitHub.

  • Partner with global virtual events teams and post-purchase marketing teams to ensure integrated strategies.

  • Integrate promotional strategies including: organic social, organic search, paid social, and email.

  • Work with Product Marketing and Campaign Managers to build customer journeys as the core program strategy.

  • Align with Sales and segment teams on objectives, target and results. Consistently gather feedback, and make optimizations.

  • Analyze business data and results, and present insights and optimizations at monthly Monthly Business Reviews to Leadership Team.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure the right message, at the right time, and in the right channel.

  • Use marketing automation, email nurturing and re-engagement tactics across corporate and regional teams to engage and convert inquiries and customer signals through the buyer’s journey.

  • Document processes in issues and team playbooks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in business-to-business (B2B) integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or a related field

    • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business-to-business (B2B) integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or a related field

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience in driving and building integrated marketing campaigns

  • 5+ years experience working in B2B software marketing teams.

  • 3+ years experience working with marketing analytics tools and technologies (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, PowerBI).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data and results-driven mindset with the ability to test, learn and optimize.

  • Strong project management capabilities to get buy-in and move teams forward.

  • Partnering with teams to create best in class channel strategies for digital events, social media, content, paid media, email and web.

  • CRM, email nurture strategy, and marketing analysis experience. Salesforce and Outreach experience a plus.

  • Experience collaborating with product marketing and campaign managers supporting integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Successful track record of partnering with sales teams on marketing enterprise software.

  • Familiar with or ready to learn how to use GitHub.

  • Proactive self-starter, who takes initiative and builds best practices.

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this job is USD $96,400.00 – USD $255,700.00 /Yr.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual’s base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
