Superside is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a forward-thinking tech team and help build the platform for modern creative work.

Superside is the leading AI-powered creative service company, delivering creative services to some of the largest companies in the US (Amazon, Salesforce, Meta).  We’re building a collaboration platform that enables our globally distributed team members and customers to work together remotely, thanks to features like briefing, staffing, design feedback and asset delivery.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering you’ll lead the engineering part of the Growth product vertical enabling new subscriptions and boosting service usage. This role requires flexibility and agility in order to lead your team in a fast-paced environment without losing our culture of openness and knowledge sharing.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with product to create and deliver on product development initiatives that have measurable and sizable impact on the growth of Superside (specifically regarding our customers’ subscription experience)
  • Lead the Engineering part of the Growth product vertical enabling new subscriptions and boosting service usage
  • Lead the Briefing product team directly, being responsible for the day-to-day engineering delivery and quality of the team
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on their projects
  • Coach, mentor and guide both engineers and engineering managers through their career paths
  • Develop team and vertical roadmaps with the product managers and product designers
  • Foster a remote high performing culture where we always assume best intent and roll-up-our-sleeves to get shit done
  • Facilitate openness and knowledge sharing across engineering teamsImprove working process across all teams that report to you by introducing new ways of working that benefit both individuals and teams
  • Be the go-to resource and a visible leader that sets ambitious goals for best engineering practices

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2+ years as a Senior Engineering Manager or Director of Engineering
  • Experience building and managing highly collaborative teams, preferably from the ground up with a people-first and/or product-focussed approach
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and guide career growth through tailored individual and team development plans
  • Ability to manage complex projects and delivering high-quality products making sure engineering goals and business objectives are aligned
  • Ability to guide technical discussions, review code, and setting technical standards for the team
  • Knowledge of agile practices and ability to translate these into productive working processes that enable high performing teams
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
