About the role:

We are looking for an innovative and strategic Sr. BrandGen Manager to join the Brand, Creative, & Content Team at Samsara. This role is pivotal in ideating and driving impactful, omni-channel campaigns that elevate Samsara’s brand, generate engagement, and fuel growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Growth, Digital, Brand, Creative, and Operations to ideate, design, and execute fully integrated campaigns that build brand awareness, nurture prospects, and move target audiences through the funnel. In this role, you will shape the thought leadership topics that elevate the brand and position Samsara as the leader in Connected Operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Generate new and fresh ideas for breakthrough omni-channel campaigns that increase brand awareness and encourage audiences to learn more about Samsara.
  • Oversee the execution of brand to demand campaigns and activations across multiple channels, including billboards, digital ads, social media, trade publications, email marketing, and event-based marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Content, and Communications  to develop compelling through leadership content that elevate the brand and position Samsara as the leader in Connected Operations.
  • Identify key audience segments in specific industries to ensure tailored messaging and targeting in all campaign activities.
  • Work closely with Growth, Digital, and Brand teams to align on campaign goals, messaging, content needs, and KPIs to measure success.
  • Work with Content and Creative teams to develop compelling assets tailored for top-of-funnel audiences.
  • Partner with the Growth team to track and measure campaign performance, using data insights to optimize campaigns in real-time and ensure continuous improvement of key metrics, including traffic, engagement, and MQLs.
  • Drive initiatives that encourage faster movement from awareness to consideration to purchase, utilizing data-driven insights to influence decision-making.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 8+ years of experience with focus on global brand campaigns, creative agency, brand manager and strategy.
  • Ability to easily generate innovative ideas and conceptualize them into campaigns that fuel business growth.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful fully integrated campaigns that reach across multiple channels (billboard, social, digital/print, paid media, etc).
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, audience segmentation, and multi-channel campaign execution of high impact channels.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and optimize campaigns based on real-time insights to achieve business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt strategies as business needs evolve.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles.  For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.

We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.
