About the Role

As Metronome’s first Account Executive Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting and upleveling our account executive across multiple segments. Your mission is to onboard new customers and drive the expansion of our customer base.


  • Strong track record of exceeding company sales quotas in a complex sales environment, both as an IC and in a leadership capacity.
  • Background in hiring, leading, and retaining high-performing Account Executives while building a collaborative and inspiring culture.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms (technical background in engineering or computer science a plus).
  • Exceptional collaboration, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Metronome.
  • Consistently weigh short-term goals with long-term objectives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to haves

  • Experience as a founder or at an early-stage startup
  • Technical degree, work experience as a software engineer, or other technical skills
  • Experience with billing, infrastructure, or quote-to-cash
  • Experience selling to technical buyers in Engineering and Product
  • Experience leading an organization of 25+ people or 10+ years in management
