At 1Password, the Revenue Operations team is dedicated to creating and maintaining efficient systems and processes that drive revenue growth. We equip our go-to-market teams with the programs, tools, data, and insights they need to foster successful and scalable growth for 1Password.
As the Director of Revenue Operations, you will lead a diverse team of managers and analysts to support our go-to-market teams in their daily operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Revenue Operations, you will collaborate with senior business leaders to drive, accelerate, and optimize the entire business forecasting process. You will provide insights into business performance and enhance sales process efficiencies. As a senior leader, you will work cross-functionally within 1Password, setting expectations for business planning and analysis, and contributing significantly to our monthly and quarterly business reviews.
This is a remote opportunity available to individuals based in Canada and the US.
What we’re looking for:
- Strategic Thinking – A successful Director of Revenue Operations should demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking abilities. You need to understand the big picture and develop long-term plans that align with the company’s growth objectives. This involves anticipating market trends, identifying opportunities, and creating strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Analytical Expertise – The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Proficiency in using data analytics tools and methodologies to monitor performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions is crucial. This ensures that all revenue-related activities are data-driven and results-oriented.
- Leadership & Collaboration – Effective leadership and collaboration skills are crucial for this role. You must be able to lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes shared goals and accountability. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve revenue targets.
- Integrity and Respect – You act with integrity, kindness, and respect at all times. You’re confident enough to challenge norms and suggest meaningful changes, but humble enough to be part of a strong culture and team that embraces diversity and open discussion.
What you can expect:
- Business Planning & Forecasting – 30%
- Lead the business planning process alongside our FP&A colleagues, aligning revenue goals with strategic initiatives. - Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key performance data to inform strategic decisions. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data while leveraging advanced analytics to identify trends and opportunities. Develop dashboards and KPIs to track business performance and drive operational efficiencies.
- Sales Incentive & Territory Design/Execution – 20%
- Design and implement sales incentive programs that align with business objectives and motivate the sales team. Oversee the management of territory planning and allocation to optimize coverage and maximize revenue. Continuously evaluate and refine these programs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with company goals.
- Partner Operations – 20%
- Oversee the day-to-day aspects of our partner programs, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with revenue goals. Develop and implement partner programs to drive mutual growth and success.
