Overview
Founded in 2009, Dribbble is the top global community for designers and creative professionals and an inspiration destination for over a hundred million people every year. We’re empowering creatives around the world to make a living doing what they love. Our mission is to provide support at every stage of a creative’s journey; whether that’s freelancing, selling their physical and digital goods on our marketplace, or being hired by some of the world’s leading design-forward companies.
With many jobs, you have to pick between having a huge impact on the organization (small team) or having a huge impact on the world (big product), but at Dribbble – you get to do both, as part of a highly collaborative team, working on one of the world’s top 1000 websites.
At Dribbble, we serve a global community and we need a diverse team to do that successfully. Women, people of colour, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with disabilities, and veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. We provide an accessible candidate experience, and if you need any accommodations or adjustments throughout the interview process and beyond, please let us know. We’re dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment for employees from all walks of life.
We’re building a fully remote team across North America (Canada & the US). We believe that creative collaboration can happen anywhere, and that working remotely shouldn’t have to mean sacrificing a sense of cohesion, community, and connection. We’ve seen that by combining thoughtful collaboration, frequent communication, and the freedom for people to be their authentic selves, you can do your best work and inspire others to do the same.
About the role:
We’re looking for a phenomenal Recruiter to play a key role in supporting our team’s recruitment efforts and making sure we have the right people filling the right seats. As a part of our People Ops team, you’ll work with our hiring managers to help fill our open roles, ensuring stellar candidate experiences and operational efficiency. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you’ll help facilitate a high-touch candidate-oriented recruitment process, bringing creative sourcing strategies to the table without compromising on the caliber of candidate skill set or character.
As a Recruiter, you’ll be responsible for:
- Owning the full recruitment cycle for leadership, creative, technical, and support roles; ensuring candidates have a stellar experience in the hiring pipeline, and fostering relationships with top candidates. You’ll see them through the hiring process from phone screen to onboarding. You’ll also work to build a network of potential candidates to tap into for future hiring efforts.
- Partnering with our hiring teams to understand their unique needs and help them achieve their goals, all while keeping the hiring process on track.
- Supporting new hires: Acting as the lifeline for new Dribbblers, you’ll assist with onboarding and support new hires through questions, tools and benefits setup, and general first-week jitters. You’ll create and keep employees files up to date and ensure all required documents are signed, processed, background checks are completed.
- Identifying areas of improvement in our recruitment process and help to refine it.
- Developing innovative sourcing strategies to ensure our pipelines are always full of top talent.
- Pitching in on a variety of other People-related projects, such as events and employee experience.
We’re looking for:
- Someone who has previously hired for top talent in technical roles like Product Design and Engineering, and who has at least 2 years of experience.
- A natural at making new friends and investing in meaningful connections: You are warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. You love celebrating people and helping them find what they need, and setting them up for success as they take on their next big career opportunity.
- Organized: You have a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask across a variety of projects. You have a system for everything, so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Proactive about making things happen: You’re always on the lookout for how to make life at Dribbble a little better.
- Comfortable working with ATS and communication tools like email, Slack and Workable.
- Familiar with Canadian and/or US employment law would be a huge bonus!
