We’re Fluxon, a product development team founded by ex-Googlers and startup founders. We offer full-cycle software development from ideation and design to build and go-to-market. Our HQ is in San Francisco, but this position can be remote from anywhere in North America. If you’re located in the Bay Area, you’ll also have the opportunity to co-work with our team in-person (we meet once a week at a co-working space and would love for you to join when you can!).

About the role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building out Growth & Development at Fluxon. You’ll play a critical role in scaling our company and our community sustainably while building a strong culture of openness, continuous learning and operational efficiency. This role reports to our Global People Operations Lead.

In your first 30 days, you’ll:

  • Meet with each member of our Ops team and other key stakeholders across Fluxon
  • Familiarize yourself with our company processes, policies, and tools

In your first 60 days, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of our biannual career development and performance review process
  • Start drafting a strategy for growth at Fluxon

In your first 90 days, you’ll:

  • Finish drafting and start executing on a strategy to ensure that every individual can find meaningful growth at Fluxon, through:
    • Strengthening our culture of continuous feedback
    • Creating opportunities for each Fluxonian to continue to grow and develop
    • Upskilling managers to be advocates for each member of their team
  • Diagnose any other challenges you see and suggest solutions

  • Are passionate about problem-solving – No matter how big or small the task, you’re motivated to try out different ideas and find the right solution
  • Excel at thoughtful execution – You ask questions, do research, and take the time to build a strong foundation before diving into the tactical steps
  • Are experience oriented – You recognize that details are important, and prioritize the details that make the greatest impact on the experience of our team and our clients
  • Have strategic, end-to-end program management experience, and can tell us about the impact of the programs you’ve worked on
  • Have either worked in a start-up environment or demonstrated entrepreneurship in a previous role (e.g. starting new initiatives, coming up with new ideas)
  • Have at least 5+ years of experience in People Operations or another people-centric field

What we offer

Our salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000, and we consider your skills and experience and what similar roles pay at companies similar to us when determining your offer.
