About the role

We’re looking for a dedicated Partner Success Manager. 

This is the first role of its kind at komoot, meaning  you’ll have the unique opportunity to define what partner success looks like for us. We’ve already made great progress in this direction by launching the komoot Academy, a self-paced education program teaching partners how to use komoot for their needs. 

Now, we want to take this to the next level. 

You’ll be responsible for ensuring that partners have an amazing experience from the moment they sign up to the Academy to the time they publish their first piece of content on komoot. You’ll help us refine every process and touchpoint throughout that journey and create a process that empowers partners to use komoot to its fullest potential.

We want to establish these processes in the DACH market to start with and scale these to additional markets as we grow, particularly in France and Italy.

You’ll work closely with Betty, our Senior Marketing Partnerships Manager, and Iris and Tobi from our Sponsored Collections squad

What you will do

  • Your goal is to ensure that partners are successful using komoot and publishing their content on the platform.
  • Build strong rapport with partners in the tourism sector, understanding their needs and effectively communicating komoot’s value proposition.
  • Help partners complete the komoot Academy and continuously evolve it, improving user education on tools, reports, and community trends.
  • Design and establish the ideal partner journey for active partners, in conjunction with Betty.
  • Optimize our existing setup to provide a high-touch experience while ensuring scalability.
  • Collaborate with our Editorial Team to ensure partner content is high quality and great for komoot users.
  • Track the performance of partner content and proactively identify opportunities to improve it.
  • Represent komoot at a few in-person conferences a year in the DACH region.

You’ll be successful in this role if you

  • Have 5+ years of experience in customer success management.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in developing and managing successful partner programs.
  • Have designed self-service and self-paced education programs for customers or partners.
  • Have a business-oriented mindset coupled with excellent communication skills.
  • Are enthusiastic about scalable processes and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Have a proactive, results-oriented, and solution-driven attitude.
  • Enjoy occasionally attending conferences and meeting with partners in person.
  • Bring a sense of fun to your work and don’t take yourself too seriously! Our Sponsored Collections squad is driven by ambitious goals while keeping an infectious enthusiasm and a light-hearted spirit.
  • Are fully fluent in both English and German. Additional languages (especially French or Italian) are a big plus.
  • Are familiar with komoot and our existing features like Collections, Tours, Highlights, or OpenStreetMap. This isn’t essential but it’s a big plus.
