About the Role
Our clients is seeking a junior to mid-level music producer for a freestyle rap project. The ideal candidate will create a beat that blends 2000’s hip-hop style with modern elements, producing a mid-tempo track suitable for freestyle rap. This remote position offers creative freedom to craft a unique sound that bridges classic and contemporary hip-hop. The project requires approximately a week of work, with a two to three-week completion window, prioritising quality over speed.
Responsibilities:
- Compose and produce an original beat for the freestyle rap song
- Create a mid-tempo rhythm that facilitates freestyle rapping
- Blend 2000’s hip-hop elements with modern production techniques and effects
- Develop a repeatable beat structure with a fadeout ending
Requirements
- Proven experience in hip-hop beat making and music production
- Strong understanding of both 2000’s hip-hop styles and current trends in the genre
