We’re looking for an outstanding team member to join Affirm’s Marketplace Revenue team. The Marketplace Revenue team is responsible for structuring, negotiating, and executing on strategic initiatives that drive revenue via Affirm’s consumer app. As a Marketplace Strategy Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert on our business. This is a complex role essential to the functioning of Marketplace’s growth. The ideal team member will have familiarity with online marketing and merchandising, be a top-notch communicator & a team player, and have direct experience working in a fast-paced & ambiguous environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Play a meaningful role in developing and executing on Marketplace’s strategic revenue initiatives, including merchandising, pricing, demand generation, and GTM planning, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, Credit, Sales, and Analytics teams
  • Own our merchandising strategy; this includes determining which themes & merchants appear in the app on a given week, analyzing weekly performance, and synthesizing results to optimize future placements
  • Assist in structuring, and executing various pricing constructs to be used by the affiliate sales team
  • Help operationalize the business strategy for Affirm’s consumer incentives business
  • Conduct analysis to drive business understanding of our performance and inform our go-to-market approach
  • Build and scale business operations, including app management, merchant onboarding, monitoring, and new feature launches
  • Act as a liaison between Marketplace Revenue and Consumer Marketing teams; program managing various consumer-centric marketing campaigns

 

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of experience working in an analytical or operations role at a fast-paced tech company
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization
  • Proven track record of delivering on time
  • Proven ability to enhance cross-functional efficiency through process development
  • Ability to execute independently in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to pivot as business needs change
  • Self starter who can identify areas for improvement and drive solutions
  • Experience with SQL & Looker preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen

Pay Grade – USA26
Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year:
Min: $92,200
Mid: $108,300
Max: $124,400

USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year:
Min: $83,000
Mid: $97,500
Max: $112,000
