About Us

At Canva, our mission is to democratise design and empower creativity for anyone and everyone, on every platform. Inspired by a team of talented thinkers, an amazing culture and a remarkable growth trajectory – we’re out to change the world, one design at a time.

Since launch in August 2013, we have grown exponentially, amassing over 60 million monthly active users across 190 different countries who have created more than 6 Billion designs. We are one of the world’s fastest-growing technology companies and we have only achieved about 1% of what we want to do.

Our Canva University Team

At Canva we’re making design simple and accessible to everyone, empowering people all over the world with the skills to help them reach their goals.

Canva University supports this by designing learning and development experiences inside and outside of Canva to support the skills everyone needs to work at their best – everything from technical learning, onboarding, leadership, team effectiveness and personal development. Our vision for Canva University is to become the best place to grow by offering the most impactful learning experiences possible.

Our team has a wide range of skills and are all-rounder learning specialists. They’re designers, engineers, teachers, facilitators, psychologists and doers. They craft instructor led and asynchronous learning, and continuously grow their skills and courses along with our product and content library.

We’re looking for someone to join our dynamic team and drive innovation, new thinking and fresh approaches in our soft skills curriculum offering. This person will be iterating on our existing content, working with a range of stakeholders to create new engaging videos and content, and building learning pathways within the curriculum.

About the role

This person needs to be able to take complex concepts and communicate it simply, visually, and across a range of mediums.
  • Effective at managing multiple projects. As this person will juggle multiple projects and help chart new territory in building out our course structure and designing new learning content, they need to be adept at managing their own time and priorities, to get stuff done well and on time.

  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Communication skills are key. This person will need to communicate clearly and work with internal and external parties to create the best online and in person courses.
