About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Solution Engineering to lead our Enterprise team, managing both presales and implementation activities. This role will be central to overseeing successful implementations, driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role will report to the Director of Solution Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Enterprise SE team, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of presales activities and the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and customer success teams to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor and provide close oversight on Enterprise deals to ensure successful execution and risk management.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.
  • Oversee the preparation and completion of RFPs.
  • Track and monitor KPIs for team members to ensure performance aligns with organizational goals.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members, focusing on continuous improvement of processes and tools.
  • Navigate complex project challenges to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 6+ years of experience in solution engineering, technical sales, or similar roles within SaaS companies.
  • Strong technical background with experience in web infrastructure, web analytics, and data management.
  • Proven CRM and integration experience (Salesforce, Hubspot).
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (JS/HTML/CSS).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and solve complex technical challenges creatively.
  • Adept at managing a (remote) team and fostering a collaborative environment
  • You are a quick learner, passionate about technology and like to take a ‘launch fast and iterate’ approach
  • You love to act as a mentor and help guide talent to make optimal decisions
  • Experience in international settings, especially with teams in Eastern Europe, is preferred
  • Professional experience with nonprofit technology or within nonprofit industry is preferred
