Tuff is a growth marketing team working with clients to drive growth by creating, managing, measuring, and optimizing high-performing acquisition campaigns. We’re a fully remote and small team with endless opportunities for autonomy, ownership, and impact.

We work with clients in nearly every industry and a typical engagement with Tuff includes Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, PPC, SEO, Email, and CRO. Every account has a dedicated Growth Marketing lead and is supported by various channel experts.

As the fourth Growth Marketer at Tuff, you will be responsible for overseeing the growth and increased visibility for 5-8 clients. You will work with channel experts at Tuff to prioritize high-impact growth campaigns to quickly drive R.O.I. and key learnings. Then, invest in additional campaigns to scale up what works.

Requirements

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Uncover and holistically understand a company’s existing performance to find the bottlenecks preventing the business from achieving their goals
  • Help Tuff clients grow with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, PPC, SEO, Content, and Email tactics and strategies.
  • Assess qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions about marketing campaigns
  • Define your measures of success and track core KPIs
  • Build growth marketing roadmaps for clients using Tuff’s framework
  • Design and run a variety of new scalable (and unscalable) marketing experiments including campaigns on Google, Facebook, YouTube, and other channels
  • Map and improve conversion funnels for clients

Within 1 month, you’ll…

  • Shadow John and Ellen on three existing Tuff clients to learn more about Tuff’s growth marketing process
  • Assist in setting a growth marketing strategy for 2 clients
  • Complete SEO, Facebook, Google, and CRO courses with the Tuff team to learn our process for each channel

Within 3 months, you’ll…

  • Manage three clients as the primary growth marketing lead, meeting with them weekly
  • Execute campaigns on a regular basis
  • Contribute to the Tuff blog and on social channels
  • Meet weekly with channel experts at Tuff to develop specific strategies for each of your clients

Within 6 months, you’ll…

  • Manage five clients as the primary growth marketing lead, meeting with them weekly
  • Make process improvements to Tuff’s client onboarding flow
  • Execute campaigns on a regular basis
  • Contribute to the Tuff blog and on social channels
  • Manage execution and impact results for each of your accounts
  • Meet weekly with channel experts at Tuff to develop specific strategies for each of your clients

About you:

  • You have 4+ years of experience as a growth marketer with a background that includes data-driven PPC, Facebook Ads, or SEO.
  • You have an inclusive, hands-on client management style with proven experience clearly communicating growth marketing strategy.

  • You have a bias toward action and are both efficient and adaptable.
  • You are a driver, focused on making an impact on the organization and clients every day.
  • You have demonstrated success testing and uncovering useful insights and sharing them in an engaging form that inspires people to take action.

You’ll work closely with the whole team. In particular with Richard, Ellen, John, and Elle to get up to speed on current clients and iterate on the Growth Marketing process at Tuff.

At Tuff, we believe it’s important for people to live and work where they are happiest and most productive. Our team is fully remote and we offer a remote set up stipend for your home office or co-working space. Tuff covers 100% of health, dental, and vision for employees.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $110,000 (we use a compensation formula that adjusts for experience and cost of living).
