Zume is on a mission to make a stellar face mask. We are looking to bring a freelance Industrial Designer into the process to join our small but mighty design team. The candidate will be able to work on aspects of the full design process, depending on where the team’s needs are evaluated on a weekly basis. This could mean a focus on sketching, stylus renderings, 3D modeling in Solidworks and/or Rhino, rendering in Keyshot, and producing stellar designs that will end up in prototype tooling. This is a contract/1099 role. Hours can be part-time or full-time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design / Product Design
- 3-10 years experience
- CSWP or equivalent experience in SolidWorks
- Excellent Stylus Rendering Work

NICE TO HAVE:
- Rhino 3D Proficiency, Grasshopper is a plus
- Keyshot Proficiency, detailed work in RealCloth fabrics a plus
- Ergonomics; Experience Developing Products that tightly fit to the human form in multiple sizes
- Experience Developing Medical Face Masks or N95 Masks
