We are actively looking for a corporate Event Manager with a strong background in producing in-person and virtual events, managing third party conference sponsorships, and collaborating with a global team.  In this role, you will be responsible for building, planning and executing extraordinary marketing events; targeting prospects and existing customers; directly contributing to the success of the sales team’s pipeline goals. This role will involve daily interaction with cross-functional stakeholders located around the world, and requires a combination of strong planning, organizational, communication, and execution skills. Deep understanding of the EMEA region and willingness to travel is critical. Open source or developer marketing experience a bonus.


  • Oversee end to end management of Grafana -hosted events, from site visits to post-event activities
  • Stay on top of budgets, timelines, and tactical details to meet event priorities agreed upon with your manager
  • Work collaboratively with all areas of marketing, engineering, sales, finance, and legal to execute effective marketing events
  • Liaise with global team, occasionally taking calls outside of typical EMEA working hours
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and event speakers, both internal and external


  • 2 – 4+ years of experience in event management (executing your own events + sponsorship management) without third party agency assistance
  • End to end project management experience
  • Audio/visual and vendor management experience
  • Knowledge of cultural differences across EMEA
  • Ability to lift more than 11 kg of event supplies if needed

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time as restrictions lift around the world
  • Drive to deliver a certain standard of excellence in all programs you produce and manage
  • Project management skills, ability to stay on top of deadlines, and not let anything fall through the cracks
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to view events from the attendee perspective
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty and be directly responsible for many aspects of the events you manage
  • SFDC experience a plus
