Design Pickle is adding a senior member to its marketing team to help define and manage the portfolio of GTM strategies and investments as we scale our creative services into agency and non-agency industries. This role will lead an incredible marketing team to execute the tactics required to build a large volume of high-quality demand opportunities that convert to new Design Pickle clients at a high rate, resulting in lowered CAC.
The scope of tactics will be full funnel – online and offline – and at all times continuing to build brand awareness as the market leader of subscription creative services deep into the communities of our target audiences. This person will be expected to bring leadership and experience to the team and ensure smooth collaboration with other departments to help enable their success.
One part growth marketing, one part product marketing, success will come from someone who can immediately see the value of Design Pickle and understand what it takes to build awareness and change entrenched buyer behaviors toward our tech-enabled professional service.
Reports to: Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Works closely on a daily basis with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.
Location: Design Pickle is a fully remote company with a Company Hub in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Specific to this role, we’re looking for individuals who have…
- Minimum of 7 years of marketing leadership experience in B2B marketing, preferably within professional services, creative services, or technology-enabled services.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling demand-generation strategies that lowered CAC while scaling growth.
- Experience managing a marketing team and working collaboratively across departments to achieve business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills, and comfortable pulling and using data to drive decisions based on ROI and other performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of defining and communicating a clear strategy for growth and leading their team and other stakeholders inside the company toward achieving ambitious outcomes.
- Demonstrated track record of scaling B2B marketing and growth engines from mid-$20M to $50M+ in total company revenue – with significant cost efficiency and market share growth along the journey.
- Product-led growth experience and/or a track record of shifting strategies towards a product-led motion with measurable positive results.
- Proficiency in Hubspot CRM and marketing automation tools to streamline and enhance marketing efforts.
- Examples of creative, out-of-the-box, ideas, deliverables, and campaigns they developed and led that drove significant business impact.
- A track record of using data-driven insights to drive decision-making and optimize performance, with experience in tools like Google Analytics and Tableau.
- A proactive and innovative approach to demand generation, with a strong background in creating and optimizing GTM strategies and campaigns.
- Capable of effectively engaging with diverse teams including engineers, creatives, and executives.
- A commitment to continuous improvement through rigorous testing and adoption of new technologies to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a holistic demand generation strategy, encompassing all stages of the funnel, from awareness to customer acquisition to establish market leadership in subscription creative services.
- Oversee the execution of multi-channel campaigns including digital advertising, content marketing, SEO, social media, email marketing, events, offline activations, and PR to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to continuously refine and optimize demand generation efforts.
- Work in partnership with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless integration and effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with C-Level and functional leadership to align demand generation strategies with business goals and market dynamics.
- Work in partnership with Product, Customer Success, and Global Operations to develop and own the success of product-led growth initiatives and campaigns to increase retention, product adoption, and customer loyalty.
- Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure a high return on investment and drive down customer acquisition cost (CAC as budgets scale).
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions to enhance performance. Communicate metrics and performance to the organization for decision-making.
- Build and mature a high-performing marketing team, through collaboration, innovation, and iteration.
The compensation range for this position is $185,000 to $205,000 annually. The actual salary offer made to a candidate will be made with mindful consideration of a wide range of factors. These factors include but are not limited to skills, qualifications, education/knowledge, experience, and alignment with market data for a given location within the US.
