Overview

GitHub helps companies and organizations succeed by allowing them to build better software together, faster. As an intern on the Revenue team, you will work closely with GitHub’s senior leaders to put developers – our customers – in a position to push the boundaries of what’s possible so they can make the world better. Our team is composed of talented individuals in Customer Success, Corporate Sales, Field Services, and Revenue Operations & Enablement.

As a Revenue Intern within the Customer Success organization at GitHub, we will teach you the ins-and-outs of the software development lifecycle, our products, and how we differentiate ourselves from the competition. You’ll learn how to research companies and engage with customers while working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly supportive work environment. Plus, you’ll have a little fun while you are at it!

What You May Work On:

Work on potential Customer Success projects such as…

  • Working on the front line of the Customer Success Portal – a customer facing platform driving support, customer success, certifications, and learning pathways.
  • Data engineering work on the GitHub Intelligence engine to drive our LLM Copilot in GitHub Support and ML analysis of Customer Success data

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • You are currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar area of study with an expected conferral date between December 2026 and August 2027 prior to starting at GitHub

  • Experience with one or more of the following skill sets:

      • AI/ML

      • LLMs

      • Ruby/Rails

      • Go and related tooling

      • Database Management Systems

      • REST APIs

      • React, Python or NodeJS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for GitHub and our mission to make developers’ lives better

  • A desire to learn more about a Revenue organization at a high-technology company

  • The ability to empathize with every aspect of the customer experience

  • Experience or interest in coding

  • Comfortable collecting and prioritizing input from various stakeholders on a project

  • Passionate about learning new tools and technology and implementing them

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this job is USD $41.36 – USD $59.10 /Hr.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual’s base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
