The Action Network is an exciting sports media start-up that builds products and creates content to inform and entertain the sports bettor. The sports betting and fantasy sports space is massive ($170bn in the US), growing and underserved from a product and content perspective, and we have the talent, domain expertise and passion to win the space.

We are seeking a Customer Operations Specialist who is highly motivated, detail oriented, proactive and excited about joining a fast-paced start-up.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer support for our users
  • Effectively communicate with our customers across several channels – email, chat, and social media
  • Resolve customer inquiries by aligning customers with the right resources
  • Identify and communicate product feedback and issues
  • Work with product teams to identify and fix user-experience concerns
  • Monitor the latest sports news and trends to update our real-time sports analytics database and platforms

Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Experience and proficiency with help desk software (ZenDesk, LivePerson, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to work weeknights and weekends
  • Passion for sports
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with team members in remote office locations
  • Strong communication and writing skills
