Upstream is building the future of equitable, transparent, and decentralized communities. Our most recent product, Upstream Collectives, is a DAO-in-a-box, full-stack, no-code platform to start and manage a DAO.

We’re looking for a Content Manager to build and execute our content marketing strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to own the brand voice of an up-and-coming crypto start-up. This person is interested in web3 and crypto, is excited about the future of DAOs, and understands all that goes into developing and executing a cohesive content strategy.

This person is a self-starter who is excited about building from scratch. This role will report to the CEO and Head of Operations, working alongside the Head of Growth Marketing and Head of Community.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience of working in content marketing
  • Experience designing a brand’s voice and marketing strategy
  • Ability to run with and completely own content marketing across channels
  • Excited and interested in DAOs, crypto, web3
  • Is a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Plan and strategize content across platforms all the way from idea to execution
  • Refine and develop Upstream’s brand voice
  • Coordinate with in-house content creators, vendors, freelancers, external content creators, and agencies for content creation
  • Manage social media accounts across existing platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) and help grow on new channels (Youtube, TikTok)
  • Write and publish content
  • Respond to DMs and tags across Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Work closely with design team and content creators to produce necessary graphic assets

About the Role

  • Compensation for this role is within the range of: $90,000-120,000 + health care, learning & development budget, WFH or co-working budget, & technology stipend
  • Full-time, completely remote
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
