About the Team

The Client Engineering Services team is the connective tissue between the IT department and employees within DoorDash. Our current team responsibilities are sprinkled across identity access management, IT tooling/automation, account provisioning and deprovisioning, endpoint management, system/application configuration and system maintenance. With the recent growth of our team, additional responsibilities include IT infrastructure development and IT software development life cycle management.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Client Platform Engineer who is excited to be the main subject matter expert for our growing fleet. You will partner closely with Security, IT Architects and other cross functional partners to maintain device fleets across DoorDash. Experience managing multiple client platform tools and client operating systems will be required to create the perfect “recipe” for DoorDash.

  • Be an SME for our fleet management and platforms, implementing deployment solutions across MacOS, Windows, ChromeOS, etc.
  • Scale our global fleet of MDM devices
  • Design dashboards for monitoring and swift remediation
  • Verify that client configurations maintain security compliance
  • Mentor junior members of client platform engineering

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have a minimum of 4 years experience managing MacOS, Windows & Linux at scale
  • You have expert experience with configuration management for: Chef, Puppet, etc.
  • You are a strong team player
  • You have expert experience with client platform tools: Munki, Nudge, osquery, etc.
  • You are familiar with various MDM software technologies: AirWatch, JAMF, Intune, etc.

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $115,000 – $149,000, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
