Account Executive
Full time. Remote.
We are looking to grow our SamCart sales team by adding a highly motivated Account Executive. We are a rapidly-growing, fast-moving company that loves our customers and firmly believes that their success is our success. This is an early member of a small and growing team at SamCart, not a gear-in-the-machine position. Account Executives will be expected to consistently close new business, while also constantly thinking about improvements to our process and strategy. You’ll hit today’s goals while contributing to the development of future growth plans.
As an Account Executive, you will be taking inbound calls and prospecting into accounts to identify and quality sales opportunities and secure meetings. You will be focused on our Enterprise market, mainly our proven seller persona. This role will have a major impact on the company’s success as we grow this segment of the business and scale marketing investment for sales-assisted leads through our Done-For-You funnel. We are looking for someone who hustles and is obsessed with closing deals, 24/7.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth through high-volume, fast-paced sales
- Conduct calls and meetings with inbound leads coming from Marketing, especially the Done For You funnel, exceeding a 15% close rate
- Conduct discovery calls, qualify leads, be able to answer and resolve lead obstacles, and close deals
- Call target lists to qualify and close prospects
- Prospect leads and accounts through outbound efforts, targeting online sellers in our proven seller and VIP personas
- Upsell leads to SamCart’s Enterprise plan
- Conduct informative SamCart demos and highlight unique competitive advantages that can help them grow their business
- Become an eCommerce and SamCart product expert and guide our customers on their way to exceeding their online sales goals
- Utilize Hubspot and other tools to accurately track and share progress and performance towards goals
- Deliver weekly reporting to the team regarding leads, conversions, closed won and closed lost rates
- Provide ongoing product and sales feedback to team to contribute to future product roadmap
Qualifications
- An experienced closer – 3-5 years of top performance in a sales role, at a high-volume SaaS/eCommerce company
- That rare balance of competitive and collaborative–you’re here to crush your quotas while helping lay the groundwork for the growth of the team
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience using Hubspot to manage deals
- Knowledge of using tools like Salesloft, Google Suite, Slack, and Metabase
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, and comfortable with frequent functionality updates
- Self-driven and proactive nature, a comfort with ambiguity
