About This Role
- This role sits within our Global Content Team – reporting to the Global Head of Content and is fully remote, located in the USA.
- The EN Content Lead oversees the development and execution of a global in-app content strategy, tailored for the US / English-speaking audience and is responsible for analyzing industry trends and user data to inform content decisions.
- You will create and manage a content calendar; identifying new opportunities and optimizing existing content – as well as leading content production and editing.
- This role oversees budget and resource management; you will be responsible for building and managing a team of excellent freelancers and vendors.
- Alongside the Global Head of Content, you will collaborate with other departments such as Marketing, Creative, Product, Engineering and Customer Care to lead cross-functional campaigns and feature prioritization.
- This is a challenging role – you will need to be on top of industry trends to deliver content that truly impacts our users, while ensuring we remain non-denominational and non-divisive. You will need to quickly identify what is and isn’t working, challenge the status quo – and be the gold standard in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute the global in-app content strategy for US / EN audience based on industry trends, user research and in-app data
- Budget development, management and reporting. Resource management including managing EN Content Team
- All in-app content production for the EN Market
Develop and maintain global content release calendar, ensuring cross functional alignment - Manage analytic data requests, keep dashboards and reports updated.
- Identify new content opportunities while optimizing existing content
- Help identify and work on any content partnership strategies alongside the Heads of Partnerships and Marketing – with focus on brand awareness, monetisation streams and acquisition.
- Edit and sign off scripts and other copy as required; ensure theological accuracy / raise concerns when appropriate
- Upload and manage in-app content programming, ensuring content is strategically displayed, refreshed regularly, and displayed accurately
- Work with Global Head of Content to build a team of qualified and trusted freelancers and vendors (Voice Over talent, writers, theologians, therapists, and specialists); maintain these relationships
- Uphold best in class content quality across all content touch points; Sign off on content assets before going live // oversee the QA process
- Work cross functionally with Marketing, Creative, Product, Engineering, Customer Care to help develop cross-functional campaigns, advise on feature requests and prioritization
- Oversee Global Asset Management drive of all Content
- Work closely with other Content Leads to ensure cross market alignment
- Manage music on DSPs & royalty tracking and reporting
- Manage all licensing and contracts for vendors, talent, DSPs
Requirements
Required Experience
- A multitude (years) of experience in Content & Creative Production in the Christian space
- Project Management
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and people skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Flexibility to pivot with shifting priorities, start-up / small business experience
- Theology degree not required, but must have good understanding of Christian theology and the US Christian landscape
Desired Experience
- On-set production experience; podcast / audio and video production
