The Accounting Specialist is a vital piece of the Petvisor Finance Team. This position would support the accounting team with accounts payable and expense management, cash applications, and monthly close tasks to facilitate a smooth financial reporting process. Candidates are expected to have strong attention to detail, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work independently.
Petvisor is the holding company for several subsidiaries, including PetDesk, WhiskerCloud, Vetstoria, Kontak, and Groomer.io. This is an exciting employment opportunity to work at the Petvisor level, with responsibilities spanning the entire portfolio of companies.

- Carefully reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Efficiently process invoices and accurately code them into our system. Maintain and update vendor records in compliance with supporting documents
- Thoroughly research and resolve any errors or omissions in financial documentation
- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment batches, and responding to payment inquiries
- Keep vendor records up-to-date and contribute to process improvements for efficient filing and organization
- Manage expense reports, accounts payable, and credit card reconciliations
- Organize journal entries and perform detailed account analysis to provide valuable insights
- Assist in the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
About You
- 1+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Basic Knowledge of Excel and G Suite, experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving
- Ability to multi-task and switch between tasks
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, finance, or equivalent working experience
