Overview

Our Payments Program Manager is responsible for creating, executing, and managing operational plans across functions and departments. This position will report to the VP of Payments and will have significant visibility to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. This is a remote position with location flexibility. Some travel is required to support periodic in-person gatherings.
The individual must be able to translate complex problems in easily understandable ways for various individuals and functions. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who can work independently with little oversight.  The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of payments experience managing merchants, product, and/or operations.

What you will do:

    • Define, scope, build and lead cross-functional programs to deliver end-to-end program solutions
    • Identify and solve cross-functional operational gaps, issues, and risks
    • Define and own execution of operational plans across functions and departments
    • Build strong, trusting partnerships cross-functionally within InkTavo and with external partners
    • Identify and improve operational process inefficienciesCreate, update and analyze corporate dashboards with the team’s progress towards goals
    • Assist Head of Payments in creating a culture of planning and data-driven accountability: Working towards defined plans, reporting on progress, and removing blocks
    • Create processes and tools to communicate and prioritize issues, product feature requests, and other requirements to the responsible functions (Support, Engineering, Compliance)
    • Evolve and standardize our capabilities in the following areas: understanding the key value drivers, measuring value from the customer’s perspective, and maximizing value realization
    • Define the data and metrics required (both internal and for our customer journey) and drive the gathering, analysis and automation
    • Lead execution and delivery of solutions to resolve business problems
    • Drive communications strategy for the programs you overseeInfluence technical and product strategy, proactively identify problems, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area
    • Responsible for defining and delivering on operational and technical requirements that solve customer problems in and out of product
    • Responsible to help pitch payments solutions to customers where adoption may not be as clearcut assisting with implementing payment processing for large or migrating prospects, taking a leading role in technical conversations
    • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
    • Make pricing recommendations, provide implementation support, and train the sales and success team with payment product technical details

Who you are:

    • B.S. or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
    • 3+ years payments experience managing merchants, product, and/or operations
    • 3+ years of management experience
    • Experience delivering programs or products from inception to delivery
    • Experience working with Salesforce and creating dashboards and reporting feeds
    • Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope
    • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and strategic thought leadership
    • Experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
    • Organizational, coordination and multitasking experienceStrategic, analytical and problem-solving experience with large scale systems
