The Marketing team identifies and engages companies and job-seekers to join Hired, driving revenue to sustain our vision of a more transparent and rewarding hiring process. Reporting into the Field Marketing Events Lead, the [Events Coordinator] will be responsible for organizing and executing multiple events per month to reach new business goals via our events channel. You will iterate on current virtual and in-person event processes to manage client event timelines, coordinate event technology, and produce post event reports highlighting event success. Your creativity and resourcefulness in organizing and hosting successful events that meet client goals and will aid in further positioning Hired as a thought leader in the recruitment industry.

The ideal candidate for this role should have superior organizational skills, excellent multi-tasking skills, superb interpersonal skills, and be proactive and creative.

What we need your help with:

  • Support our clients in event planning, organization and execution
  • Create comprehensive event project plans, conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, escalate risks and challenges appropriately and ensure event is delivered on time and on budget
  • Prepare internal stakeholders if we are providing speakers/live demos and ensure deliverables are met for external (vendors) stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with other members of demand gen, product marketing, sales and many others included in the process, execution and measurement of marketing events and campaigns
  • Creating event landing pages and support technical set up of events
  • Analyze and report on event performance and areas for improvement
  • Manage on-site / virtual functions and problem solve throughout the entirety of the event

What we’re looking for:

  • 1+ years of experience in an events role
  • Hands-on experience directly managing events both virtual and in-person
  • Proven track record of successfully hosting events to meet set goals
  • Experience working cross-functionally to partner with creative, content, product, and sales teams
  • Creative thinker, comfortable coming up with event concepts, and participating in general creative brainstorms with the team
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 15%)
  • Experience with B2B Marketing tools such as Google Suite, Zoom, Splash, Hopin, Salesforce, Marketo (or similar platforms) preferred
  • Any experience in Employer Branding Event or Recruiting is preferred
