We’d love you to bring:

  • Proven experience HTML/CSS coding of responsive emails
  • Experience with a marketing automation platform (Marketo, Customer.io, Eloqua, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail; capable of serving as the most critical QA for email program and marketing reporting infrastructure
  • Knowledge of email and digital design best-practices
  • Knowledge of email best regulations such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR legislation and ADA (American Disabilities Act) requirements
  • Experience scaling demand generation programs including nurture and other outbound programs preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Domo, etc.
  • Familiar with liquid template language
  • Able to balance the needs of the business, and a commitment to user experience; believe that moving fast and obsessing over details don’t have to be in conflict with one another
  • Ability to work and jump-in on projects in a constantly changing startup environment
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently

As the Marketing Automation Specialist you will: 

We are looking for our first-ever dedicated Marketing Automation Specialist to develop and execute our marketing automation strategy across our marketing tech stack. From email and workflow development to progressive profiling, lead scoring, and on-site personalization, this brand new role combines technical and operational expertise to scale the Knock Home Swap program.

The ideal candidate will bring core competencies: marketing automation proficiency, email development (HTML/CSS), and data analysis. You’ll be contributing to a high-growth, high impact tech company focused on helping people move more freely.

  • Own all technical tasks to build integrated and scalable marketing automation platforms
  • Manage all aspects and core functionality for both prospect and customer lifecycle automation programs (personalization rules)
  • Perform regular data analysis of program performance to report on success of the program and campaigns across various platforms
  • Build out email templates (layout and HTML) and work with the creative team to expand our brand’s design system as it applies to email
  • Conceptualize and implement personalization logic across HTML email and marketing automation campaigns
  • Develop workflow and trigger rules with consumer and agent slingshot teams related to CRM field updates and data maintenance
  • Own the lead process across platforms
  • Build and configure email workflow and audience segmentations
  • Create segments for automated marketing campaigns based on criteria defined by our buyer personas, behavioral attributes, and lead/account score
  • Manage dynamic content and segmentation for personalization
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to ensure leads are correctly and efficiently routed to appropriate teams internally
  • Observe data integrity best practices and identify areas for improvement
