The Role: 

We’re looking for a stellar Principal Product Designer to help us take our mental fitness tools to the next level. As a part of our world-class design team, you’ll work with product-oriented engineers, content strategists, and other stakeholders to help build stunning, thoughtful, and impactful experiences for our millions of users.

This is a fully remote position based anywhere in North or South America.

How you’ll Make an Impact Here:

  • Independently lead complex design projects, delivering beautiful and creative results
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to solve deep problems with simple and elegant solutions that deliver value to our customers
  • Utilize strong communication skills to articulate decisions and advocate for design excellence
  • Foster talent by mentoring fellow designers to help them develop and improve their skills
  • Work lean and fast as part of a small, high-impact, and high-output design team
  • Directly influence product and company decisions

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working on beautifully designed mobile products
  • Design portfolio that demonstrates outstanding UX and UI work
  • Deep-rooted user empathy and excellent visual and interaction design skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of mobile design patterns
  • Hunger to challenge yourself, learn new things, tackle complex problems, and level up your collaborators
  • Highly proficient in Figma
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Collaborative and communicative, with a track record of giving and receiving impactful feedback, sharing insightful opinions, and asking thoughtful questions

Bonus:

  • Experience building or working with meditation, educational, or puzzle-based experiences
  • Experience working in a fully remote work environment with teammates operating across various time zones
  • Experience with motion design and animation using tools such as After Effects or Rive
