From our headquarters in the Technological Park of Andalucía in Málaga, Spain, we operate both locally and internationally with clients from many different business sectors including leading brands in the Games, IT, Engineering, Life Sciences, Energy, Finance, Banking and Business industries.

We are currently hiring an experienced and dynamic Video game Localization Project Manager to work remotely during PST time zone with English as our main language of communication.

Role

As a Localization Project Manager, you will manage multilingual game projects in a deadline driven environment taking full ownership of your projects from RFQ to final delivery, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Able to work remotely during PST time zone
  • Games industry experience
  • University degree: BA or MA in Translation, Philology or Linguistics
  • Desirable: Computer Science, Business related studies
  • A minimum of 3 years Localization Project Management experience
  • Outstanding Project Management skills: communication, planning, organization
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Able to successfully solve unexpected issues with minor impact and with a proactive and positive “can do” attitude
  • Able to manage multilingual projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Able to negotiate effectively
  • Quality evaluation practices and tools
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • CAT Tools: especially memoQ and XTM
  • IT literacy: especially Microsoft Office suite
  • Languages: English with full working proficiency, other languages are a plus
  • Knowledge of DTP applications and audio projects is a plus

  • Ensure customer’s satisfaction
  • Successful project execution and delivery according to client’s expectations, time and budget requirements
  • Full ownership of each localization phase
  • Proposal creation, project analysis, planning and scheduling
  • Risks analysis and mitigation plans
  • Resource selection, monitoring and management
  • Quality assurance
  • Status reports
  • Cost tracking and profit margin targets
  • Project admin, post-mortems, meeting minutes, etc.
  • Follow and create procedures making recommendations for process improvements
