Terminal is looking for a researcher to help drive new markets for the business and our clients as well as continuously help fill the pipeline of possible talent in our established markets. This position will be doing essential work to help us fully achieve our mission. This role will report to the Director, Talent Operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Work directly with the Talent Partners to develop market & talent assessments for each prospective client based on technical skills and regions of interests
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify the best technical talent for Terminal and its client companies
  • Create and maintain company and candidate target lists
  • Develop research best practices and identify and/or design new search methodologies and tools
  • Work directly with the Expansion team to research new potential markets to help determine the best places to grow
  • Manage all phases of research projects including developing the project plan and providing research expertise
  • Gather and present competitive intelligence and market condition data to both clients and internal teams
  • Execute title and organizational mapping of target companies as assigned
  • Come up with new and creative ways to assess the existence and/or quality of talent in current and future markets

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Preference for Library/ Information Sciences, Economics, Psychology
  • A minimum of 2 years professional work experience. Strong preference for executive search, research librarian, or staffing agency experience
  • Demonstrated passion for research – a “love of the hunt”
  • Creative in using a variety of research tools combined with a systematic, organized approach to executing research projects.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and detail oriented
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong drive to learn, and an ability to prioritize projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive data with judgment and discretion
  • Passion, Humility and a “Can-Do” attitude
