Become Our New Social Media Specialist!

In your job as a Social Media Specialist, you will build, execute, and optimize social media strategies to attract and interact with targeted audiences.

You will join our marketing team, which is based in Europe. We work remotely, and our marketers live in France, Italy, Spain, and Serbia. This is why you should ideally live in a country that aligns with the European Timezone.
We are so curious to know which new country will be added to our distributed team map! 🌍

In this role, you will report directly to the CMO.

You will be part of our Marketing team composed of a Content Writer, a Digital Marketer, and an Affiliate Manager.

What You Will Be Doing:

In your everyday job as a Social Media Specialist, you should first enjoy connecting with people on different social media platforms! This is a new position and your main goal will be to broaden our audience and drive user engagement.

Here is a list describing the tasks involved in this position (do you happen to like making lists? So do we!):

  • You will research current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  • You will build and execute a social media strategy for WP Rocket, Imagify, and RocketCDN.
  • You will set up and optimize pages within each social media platform.
  • To increase the visibility of the social content of our products, you will create social media calendars for each product.
  • To get insights and share news about what’s happening in the company, you will collaborate with the marketing team and other departments.
  • Every day, you will generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content (i.e., original text, photos, videos, and news).
  • To develop brand awareness and engagement, you will suggest and implement new ideas (i.e., contests and giveaways).
  • You will moderate all user-generated content.
  • And you will provide social media activity reports and input for improvement.

Proven working experience in social media marketing.

Social media has no secrets for you. You know Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn inside out, and you know how to run and measure effective social media strategies.

Proficient knowledge of English and French.

You will need to be able to effectively write and communicate in English and French, respectfully, and professionally.

Communication and storytelling skills.

You can communicate openly with people, and modulate your writing tone according to the platform you write on. Your communication is friendly and engaging, even when you write about very technical topics.

Creative content creation (image/video).

Words are not your only tool. You can create eye-catching visual content with images, GIFs, and videos. If you have experience in creating video tutorials, don’t forget to send us a link to your creations. 🎬

Organization and multitasking skills.

You can juggle different tasks but also ask for help when needed. The team will always be at your side to support you in case of doubt, and to spend happy moments exchanging funny animated GIFs!

Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented.

You define yourself as a positive and proactive person. You like to experiment and also maintain your actions customer-focused.
