BookNook is on a mission to ensure every child has access to a world-class reading teacher. We offer easy-to-use tools for educators and caring adults, that empower them to provide powerful reading instruction that gets great results. At BookNook, we believe that the best programs are designed by people who have their roots in the classroom. Both our instructional strategy and our curriculum come from experienced educators who have seen firsthand what works best for students.

Duties

  • Own, manage, renew, and expand the relationship with our tutoring services partners that include schools, districts and non-profits across the US
  • Own, manage, and drive success with multiple stakeholders
  • Consistently hit revenue and usage targets set with manager
  • Build advocacy within district and at school sites
  • Manage implementation team to ensure adoption of BookNook at 50+ school sites
  • Provide communication and support to families and other users
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years management experience, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office, in particular Google Sheets and/or Excel
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with communication tools, such as Mailchimp or other marketing tools
  • Proficiency with and excitement about other technology tool technology (i.e. Salesforce, Zapier, Adobe Suite, or other more advanced software package)
  • Organized and the ability to implement and repeatable, sustainable processes
  • Experience with customer service or support
  • Demonstrated understanding of the K-12 education space
  • Ability to conduct trainings over the internet
  • Location: Northeast or Mid-Atlantic preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel: 10-20%
