Overview

This key role is a member of ModSquad’s Global People Team and is responsible to lead the People Team members in the day-to-day delivery of people programs across the company’s global footprint. It reports to the Senior Director helping to optimize people strategies and tactical operations with a special emphasis in the areas of compliance and general employee relations. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for a wide range of generalist duties including people operations program delivery in compensation, training, and development, HRIS data integrity, payroll oversight, and employee counseling and compliance activities and review. The role serves as a trusted advisor across all business units and works in conjunction with the Senior Director on the execution of company people strategy and services delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Evolve People Ops processes, programs, systems, workflows, reporting, and metrics
    • Lead and own post-recruiting worker life-cycle activities such as systems onboarding, new contractor engagement contracts, comp & benefits, compliance/policy management, learning
    • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
    • Ensure all of People Ops processes and activities are in compliance and kept up-to-date in line with current legislation, including management and maintenance of people data, and required compliance training
    • Oversee HR systems management; analyze HR systems processes and implement improvements to ensure efficient business processes
    • Ensure security, quality, timeliness, and proper use of people data and information
    • Own the ticketing system and issue tracking and resolution for all HR systems
    • Oversee HR reporting and data analytics (creating reports, dashboards, strong narratives derived from trends founds in recent people relation activities to share with executives)
    • Build frameworks and roadmaps to gain buy-in with senior leadership on people / HR related programs
    • Looking holistically and at how the details to tell a story about what we are seeing and experiencing, looking back, and having the foresight to share those potential needs/risks with services leaders
    • Build Learning and Development with an eye towards “improving our workforce, improves our clients.”
    • Oversee performance management processes and develop a framework that is usable for our unique and forward-leaning culture
    • Lead the day-to-day people operations processes and assign and coach team members in their appropriate job duties
    • Serve as a change agent and sponsor across all technical upgrades in the People Team operating environment
    • Oversee employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
    • Provide guidance and training to team members in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
    • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

Requirements:

      • 7+ years of proven experience as a Senior HR Generalist
      • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures with special emphasis on compliance and positive employee relations.
      • Comprehensive knowledge of employment/labor laws
      • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS experience will be a plus
      • Excellent communication and people skills
      • Aptitude in problem-solving
      • Experience supporting a call center virtual work environment
      • Professional certifications from SHRM and other certifying organizations
      • Team building and team management experience
      • Change management project leadership skills
      • Candidates in CT, MT or PT are preferred.

Education:

    • Minimum of a BA in Business, Human Resources with an MBA preferred
    • Professional certification from SHRM
