Ad Hoc has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Analyst to join the Federal Health team in support of the research and evaluation of opportunities and the development of proposals. The Business Development Analyst will assist in organization and production of a variety of work products used to support business development throughout the account. The desired team member will be highly motivated with strong organizational skills.The Business Development Analyst will work growth and delivery leadership in the Federal Health team to take an opportunity through the pipeline from identification to proposal. The Business Development Analyst will conduct detailed research into Federal agencies and offices, incumbent contractors, relevant contract vehicles, potential teaming partners, and budget, spending and procurement forecasts.The Business Development Analyst will also support the proposal process by identifying and driving key win themes into proposals, assist in crafting some proposal sections, and will assist in the creation of marketing and presentation materials and help build a presentation and content library.

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be based in the Washington, DC metro area, although this is a remote-work role
  • Experience leading opportunity identification and/or capture efforts in the government domain
  • Working knowledge of a technology organization, government procurement cycle, and federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc)
  • Experience conducting RFP analysis to support a bid decision
  • Experience working on both short-term and long-term capture efforts
  • Demonstrated experience working under tight deadlines to produce high-quality deliverables
  • Demonstrated persuasive, clear, and concise writing skills
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives at one time

Desired, but not required:

Knowledge of the Health and Human Services market

Fluency in Google Apps (Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Gmail, Drive, Forms, Hangouts)

Experience working in and with a remote team

Ability to write effective capability statements, personnel and management sections, past performance references, and other proposal components

Experience using tools including Deltek IQ GovWin, Bloomberg Government, Federal Business Opportunities, eBuy.

Understanding of the legislative and rulemaking process
