At MetaLab, we have lots of stories to share about the work we create and ship. We’re looking for an experienced Brand Designer to join our Marketing team to help us share our stories visually about what we do and how we do it. Additionally, this role supports the Business Development and Marketing teams to define the MetaLab brand and external sales materials.

Whether it’s creating new branding collateral, case studies, social posts, campaigns, or helping craft stellar sales presentations, you’ll present MetaLab as a leader in the product world. You’ll bring your visual style to work with the marketing team each day to attract both new clients and new team-members while building a loyal following along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day marketing and business development design planning and creation.
  • Using our existing visual language—and evolving it—you’ll create a variety of materials including website design, case studies, content visuals, social campaigns, recruiting materials and more.
  • Craft inventive designs to promote our work across various channels including web, email, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Own MetaLab’s brand image and documentation to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Collaborate with team members across various departments to understand our work and translate it into marketing collateral that tells a strong story on their behalf,

What we’re looking for

  • You have 4+ years of experience creating compelling brand and marketing designs.
  • You have an understanding of product design and familiarity of it so as to help teams showcase their product design work in marketing creative.
  • Experience with conversion-focused design on marketing sites and ad/email campaigns.
  • Passionate and eager to grow more within the craft of design.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize needs among multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with motion graphics and a strong eye for visual design.
  • Detail-oriented individual who reviews their work carefully.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Based in Vancouver or Victoria, or remote but preferably in the PST timezone.
