The Marketing Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in our marketing efforts across all business units and should be a self-driven, detail oriented, data-driven guru that works well with others. We are specifically seeking an experienced Marketo expert who will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable solutions for operational challenges. This role will support all marketing efforts around program automation design, audience filters, database hygiene, email execution, lead scoring, and measuring everything for continuous optimization. This person is highly organized, has excellent time and project management skills and is able to quickly prioritize in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize automation program components, including: landing pages, email invites, nurture programs, back-end webinar management, SFDC integration, lead processes, and campaign flows
  • Present to marketing leadership on overall and specific marketing performance, making data driven recommendations from funnel analysis
  • Measure the ROI of campaigns & channels and make recommendations based on their results
  • Stay up to date on industry trends to understand how Mitratech’s funnel performance compares to best in class standards
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Execute ad hoc data migrations, imports and manage a data quality program focused on completeness, standardization, and de-duplication
  • Identify areas of improvement and optimization of the lead follow-up process
  • Razor-sharp attention to detail with an interest in defining and improving operational processes
  • Own the customer’s inbox experience, ensuring frequency and relevancy are optimal
  • Improve campaign efficiency, contact outreach, and effectiveness by segmenting and leveraging the marketing database
  • Flexibility to accommodate emerging responsibilities and last-minute changes, but ability to push back when necessary
  • An ability to deliver results whether working independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills. You can work cross-functionally with various types of teams
  • Engage and manage outside vendors as necessary to contribute to program goals

Required Skills/Experience

  • 5-7 years of marketing operations experience, ideally in B2B software, with at least 3 years working within Marketo (this is minimum is required)
  • Teamwork mentality – we have a tight knit team, you must be able to work well with others
  • Familiarity with SFDC and how to measure channel performance from the website to the CRM
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks inside Asana, reprioritizing based on needs
  • Detail oriented, this person should be able to catch mistakes and proofread copy before publishing
  • Solution oriented – we all encounter problems, but how can we solve them?

Education

  • Degree in Marketing or related field, and/or relevant professional qualifications
