Kickass marketing coordinator with tech and marketing experience needed (remote, full-time)

The successful candidate is a savvy marketing coordinator who will help with our ever-expanding content and promotion efforts for a growing SMB audience.

It’s a huge plus if you have experience in the tech/software industry and are familiar with the digital marketing world.

Responsibilities:

  • Social media and community management, including:
  • Putting an interactive spin on the content we produce and engaging our audience;
  • Maintaining our social media accounts, publishing, and growing the audience numbers;
  • Planning and creating (or assisting in creating) content specifically for social.
  • E-mail outreach for link building purposes: finding relevant blogs/influencers and establishing content partnerships.
  • We have a team of writers creating content for us, which always needs more talent. Helping to find that talent on the internet will also be a part of your responsibilities.
  • If you enjoy writing, you can also contribute to the HostPapa blog.
  • You will be wearing at least a few hats, so more content-related tasks will pop up.

Requirements:

  • Native or comparable fluency in English;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in marketing, advertising, or related field;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of marketing experience;
  • Writing/editing experience is a plus;
  • Knowledge of either Spanish, German, or French is an advantage;
  • Proven track record of problem-solving skills and good time management;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivated, and results driven team player.

Basically, we are looking for someone to be a part of our marketing team and do cool stuff together. We are headquartered in Canada but operate 100% remotely. So you can work from anywhere in the world as long as you have a stable internet connection. However, considerable overlap with the Eastern Time zone would be necessary.
