REQUIREMENTS
- Higher degree in translation or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of target language(s), advanced level knowledge of source language(s)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Practical experience in using CAT tools (e.g. Trados Studio, Across and Star Transit)
- Highly service minded and strong sense of keeping to deadlines
- Ideally, 2 years of translating experience
Advantages
It is advantageous to have any one or more of the following:
- Previous freelance translating experience
- Previous experience in translating technical texts
- Previous experience in translating EU texts
- Previous experience in revision
- Previous experience in using Across and Star Transit are a great asset
- Knowledge of more than one EU source language is an asset
