Position Overview:

As an Email/SMS Coordinator, you will be an essential part of Freebird’s dynamic team. Your focus will be to craft and manage email and SMS campaigns that resonate with our subscribers. With a keen eye on subscriber metrics and trends, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing subscriber engagement and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Subscriber Engagement: Conceptualize, design, and execute email and SMS campaigns to engage and delight our subscriber base.
  2. Campaign Analysis: Monitor the success of campaigns, analyze results, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  3. Feedback Management: Help in collating and integrating subscriber feedback to refine campaign strategies.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Retention and other teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of messaging.
  5. Trend Spotting: Stay updated with the latest email and SMS marketing trends to keep our campaigns fresh and effective.
  6. A/B Testing: Execute regular tests to identify the most impactful campaign strategies and messaging.


  1. Educational Background: Your college degree or lack thereof is irrelevant. We value experience, skills, and dedication over formal education.
  2. 3+ years of deep-seated experience in DTC e-commerce, with a specialization in subscription-based models.
  3. Demonstrated success in driving subscriber retention and LTV growth.
  4. Proficiency in analytics tools, with an ability to glean actionable insights from complex data sets.
  5. Stellar communication skills, capable of engaging with both subscribers and internal teams.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Proficient with tools like Klaviyo, Attentive, and an openness or willingness to adapt to platforms like Sendlane.
  7. Analytical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and an innate ability to make data-driven decisions.
  8. We are a fully remote team, but we like to get together and work several times a year. Willingness to travel to Allentown, PA and Nashville, TN
  9. You will need to be available to work during Eastern or Central time zones
