Location: Remote – North America or Western Europe

Together with the VP of Sales, the Director of Inbound Sales will lead the Inbound sales department in development, expansion &  profitability. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that revenue metrics are being attained by the Inbound sales teams by ensuring that we perfect the go-to-market strategy.

The Director of Inbound Sales will enable Cloudbeds’ revenue growth by developing strategic sales priorities focusing on increasing sales effectiveness and profitability through Inbound training initiatives. Expansion in all facets including markets, verticals & product offerings. Cultural stability maintaining a fun & successful work atmosphere aimed at redefining the modern-day work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Director of Inbound Sales is primarily responsible for supporting the VP of Sales, and overseeing Inbound Sales Managers (and their direct reports) to achieve Cloudbeds revenue growth objectives. The position is accountable for the  profitability, efficiency, effectiveness, scalability & expansion, team and leadership development, and performance measurement of the Inbound sales team.


  • Ensure that each region is operating to its maximum potential and exceeding revenue targets with a balanced attainment ratio.
  • Develop Inbound management playbook in order to standardize best managerial practices for Inbound and continued leadership training & development of Inbound Sales Managers (ISM) and Inbound Sales Executives (ISE).
  • Driving Inbound and Inbound sales/marketing strategies in advance results in increased performance.
  • Work with marketing, sales ops, and partnerships to ensure the Inbound sales team achieves the optimal balance between revenue sources.
  • Lead the expansion of Cloudbeds into new markets, verticals & products whilst adhering to the company’s hiring targets. Special emphasis on mid-market “Strategic Sales” team.
  • Continued optimization of the hiring, onboarding & ramp-up of all new team members.
  • Maintain and support a culture of fun and success that’s in line with the Cloudbeds mission of re-defining the modern-day work environment.
  • Work with the Director of Customer Success to increase sales acumen for implementation & support staff
  • In conjunction with the sales enablement team, implement an industry-leading training program resulting in the increase of all conversion rates and ASP.
  • Alleviate responsibilities and duties from the VP of Sales and Inbound Sales Managers:
    • Be a point of review for other department proposals that need buy-in/approval from the Sales department
    • Run and prepare weekly sales leadership team calls and handle daily issues raised and blockers from Inbound Sales Managers
    • Perform final applicant reviews of new hires
