Ethena delivers modern, effective workplace eLearning. Our first product, harassment prevention training, focuses on culture change over compliance and is trusted by the most innovative companies including Netflix, Zendesk, Figma, and Medium. Ethena is a seed-stage company, backed by top-tier investors like GSV, Homebrew, and Neo.

Ethena is looking for a Director of Customer Success to join our small but mighty team. We are based in Brooklyn, but welcome remote candidates who are able to work EST hours.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring that our users – from demanding purchasers to confused learners – have an exceptional experience with Ethena
  • Owning the customer onboarding experience by creating and maintaining educational materials for customers, directly interfacing with new admins, and continually innovating on process
  • Learning from our customers and communicating those learnings internally so the Ethena experience continually improves
  • Serving as a product expert for internal and external parties
  • Proactively identifying customers that might need additional support or benefit from additional Ethena products
  • Building and managing our customer community in partnership with the marketing team
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, content, and product teams
  • Building out a Customer Success organization as our team grows

What makes a great candidate:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B Customer Success
  • Experience as a manager/supervisor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to approach all users with empathy and patience
  • An entrepreneurial mindset – we’re an early stage startup so we’re not just looking for someone to run a playbook – we want you to help build it
  • A “roll up your sleeves” mentality and comfort with ambiguity
  • Passion for what we’re building here at Ethena
  • An impeccable sense of humor

Valued but not required:

  • Experience in a quickly growing Customer Success team
  • Experience in Customer Success with a technology product
