We also represent some of the biggest clients defining the future of technology, urban innovation, lifestyle and real estate, architecture and those who are shaping the future of cities.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Do you have a passion for generating ideas quickly and telling stories through impactful visuals?

BerlinRosen is staffing up for the 2020 election season and looking for a Digital Designer with at least three to five years of professional experience who thrives taking on a diverse client base and issues. At BerlinRosen you can start the day working to fight against an unconstitutional abortion ban, help a progressive candidate build their following around lunch and finish the day designing high-end, visually stunning digital content for the next big luxury development.

If this kind of variety speaks to you, then this might be the right fit for you. We’re a growing team of creators and digital campaigners who are passionate about bringing our clients’ projects to life through cutting-edge digital strategies and exciting new creative executions. The digital design team primarily works on graphics and animated content for social, email and web. We also do a lot of quick branding and identity projects.

Note: This is a temporary position scheduled to begin immediately and ends on October 30, 2020. This role is fully remote within the U.S.

Apply if…

  • You have a vault of creative ideas. We want someone who can come to the table with creative ideas on design strategy—who knows the new digital design trends and how to elevate them into something unique. You are well versed in every step of design, and can create graphics that will cut through the visual clutter online.
  • You dot every “i,” change every inch mark to a smart quote and every foot mark to an apostrophe. Your typography is properly kerned, your alignment is on point and your Photoshop masks are clean. In other words, you’re detail-oriented across the board.
  • You’re not a solo artist. You’re happy to receive specific creative direction and can run with it; you think of critiques as learning opportunities and negative feedback as an exciting problem-solving challenge; and finally, you work well in a team setting.
  • You are an expert multitasker. Project briefs change, deadlines move, a client blows up an approved plan and you still have a dozen projects in your queue. It’s the nature of the business, and not only do you keep up with our fast-paced process, you thrive off of it.
  • You live and die by deadlines. Not only are you able to keep pace, but you can stay cool under pressure or when you need to quickly change priorities to meet a last-minute deadline.
  • You know how to execute—fast. Whatever your Adobe tool of choice is, you have advanced knowledge of the Creative Suite to bring you or the team’s’ vision to life. Your knowledge of keyboard shortcuts almost makes the mouse useless.
  • You are adaptable. You can change your design aesthetic and approach to fit a variety of clients and audiences within the span of a few hours.

Required Skills…

  • You are well versed in creating graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • You have experience creating eye-catching animated gifs and short videos in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • You have some knowledge or experience with web design using Webflow or WordPress.
  • You have some illustration skills.
  • You have some experience in print and out-of-home advertising.

TL;DR, the ideal candidate will be a collaborative designer who can work on multiple accounts to produce and edit clean, eye-catching and exceptional designs under tight deadlines for a diverse range of clients. A creative point of view and the ability to problem solve will be the key to success.
