Yelp is looking for a Content Marketing Manager that is excited by and passionate about content strategy. This person will be a strong storyteller responsible for building owned, influencer, and partner content programs that introduce restaurants to the new Yelp for Restaurants. They will be well-versed in content SEO strategies and able to build a plan behind what we talk about, why, and how it impacts business goals. They will help strategize and create scalable content and frameworks for owned channels and help develop campaigns that deliver measurable business results

Where You Come In:

      • You will own the strategy and execution of our written, filmed, and in-person content & thought leadership.
      • You will manage a collection of industry insiders creating content for restaurants on our behalf.
      • You will own organic growth. Create content strategies that drive qualified, organic traffic to our owned properties and report on organic’s impact on closed won deals.
      • You will collaborate with internal team members, external influencers, and industry experts to produce content that engages our audiences, and keeps them coming back.
      • You will own overall tone and voice across content channels.
      • You will create dynamic content across channels and through a variety of mediums; everything from blogging, guest writing, ebooks, infographics, templates, guides, interviews, etc.
      • You will manage a social media consultant and use content to build a following on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
      • You will demonstrate effectiveness of efforts and make results-informed decisions, responsible for driving organic site traffic and building a brand following.

What It Takes To Succeed:

      • You have 5-8 years of experience in content creation.
      • You have a clear understanding of content-based SEO strategies and strong opinions about how content impacts new user growth.
      • You are an executor and strategist who is always thinking about what we can do next.
      • You have an analytical mind and ability to use data to identify trends and make smart decisions.
      • You are an editor with a keen eye for detail.
      • You are a self-starter with an ability to own projects and work independently.
      • You have a proven track record of successfully collaborating with an array of teams.
      • You have knowledge and/or experience of working in social media marketing.
      • You have copywriting and/or copyediting experience.

What You’ll Get:

    • Compensation range is $112,000-$209,000 annually. You may also be offered Restricted Stock Units and benefits.
